1. Find items quickly

The most important function of any eCommerce marketplace is to connect customers to the products they're looking for. At BUY.gy, we've done this by helping our customers find the items they're looking for quickly, using many different search criteria to locate or filter their results. 

You can search for products by using the top search bar, and entering:

• Item Name (Part or whole)
• Item Feature (Colour, Flavour, Fragrance, Size, etc)
• Item Identifiers (Model No, Barcode, ISBN, etc)

or use a combination of the above.

You can also browse by Category (we have 21 main categories and over 5000 sub-categories), Brand or Vendor. 

When searching for a product, enter a somewhat detailed description first

e.g. fruta apple juice 200 ml

This will return a single result due to the specifics of your search request. 

Reduce the detail of your search description and you'll broaden your results giving you more products to choose from. This is helpful if you're looking for options or just browsing with something in mind - 

e.g. apple juice

This returns all listings of apple juice, but will also include results with the words "apple" and "juice" in the name and description. e.g. pineapple juice or fruit punch which contains apple juice.

You can combine search and filter functions to narrow your results further - 

e.g. a search for "apple juice" and a filter by flavour for "Apple" will give all the juice products on the marketplace that are only apple flavoured. This ignores "Pineapple" or combinations like "Apple Cherry"

Combination searches like these help you to browse for similar products across different brands or sizes to find the best value or explore new products you may not yet be familiar with.
